HOLOCAUST MUSEUM HOUSTON | EXHIBIT FILMS
Role: DOP and Lead Editor
In collaboration with Ralph Applebaum Associates, SideXSide Studios created nine video installations and two audio exhibits for the expanded Holocaust Museum Houston. Unveiled in June 2019, the museum’s renewed Holocaust Gallery and new Human Rights Gallery connect the history of the Holocaust to urgent questions about prejudice, hatred, and the protection of human rights.
Our team reviewed more than 75 hours of survivor testimony and archival material documenting World War II, the Holocaust, and other mass atrocities; and worked closely with the museum’s advisory board of historians, authors, and survivors to ensure every story was told with accuracy, care, and integrity.
The completed exhibits now reach more than 160,000 visitors each year, grounding audiences in history while challenging them to consider their own role in protecting human rights. While I cannot post the exhibit films online, I encourage visitors to experience them in person at Holocaust Museum Houston.
