THE ZEKELMAN HOLOCAUST CENTER | EXHIBIT FILMS
Role: Director
In collaboration with Ralph Applebaum Associates, SideXSide Studios created four video installations, a soundscape, and a promotional video for the reimagined Zekelman Holocaust Center, centering the story not on the perpetrators but on all that was lost as a result of these atrocities. We used a mixture of archival home movies, photographs, and audio recordings to bring historical themes to life: Life in Weimar, Germany, Kristallnacht Slideshow, Righteous and Hidden Children Object, and People and Possessions. A 360-degree soundscape added an additional layer of immersion that heightened the experience overall.
While I am unable to post the museum exhibit films online, you can see our work featured in the promotional video we created to announce the grand opening.
